Interactive Tech-led Campaigns

Marketing campaigns aren't anything new, and brands have been using them to get customers for decades now. But as competition increases, they need to find new ways to keep their existing customers while attracting new ones. And even though there are several ways to grab their attention, businesses have found that interactive tech-led campaigns are the most effective. This is because not only do they allow customers to explore their products or services by interacting with them, but it also helps make the experience fun.

What are Interactive Tech-led Campaigns?

Interactive tech-led campaigns, as the name suggests, are campaigns that make use of interactive technology to create marketing experiences. Thus, instead of the audience passively learning about a product or service, they get to take an active approach by engaging or interacting with the experience. For example, instead of simply running an ad that plays a video to showcase their new product, a brand could make use of technologies like AR or VR to create an experience where the user has to play and interact with the experience to learn about the different features of the product.

What this does is it creates a curiosity, because the customer doesn't just have all of the information at their fingertips. They need to be proactive to explore all the aspects of the product or service that the business is offering. When a campaign becomes an experience where users get to participate, it results in them being more attentive, more engaged, and leaving with something to remember. Not only is this beneficial for the audience, but even brands have to gain because it leads to customers connecting with them emotionally, gaining confidence in them, and better brand recall.

What Kind of Technologies are Used in Interactive Tech-led Campaigns

The kind of technology that needs to be used in an interactive tech-led campaign mainly comes down to the project, the target audience, and the brand's budget. These are the main factors because similar outcomes can be obtained when marketing is done using traditional means. However, the important keyword here is "similar outcomes"; this is because when you choose the right technology, you can get severalfold better results. Some popular examples of technologies used here include:

The above technologies could be used standalone, combined with each other, or used with something like AI to improve personalization and make the experiences even more immersive.

Why More Businesses are Going for Interactive Tech-led Campaigns

A per the PQ Media’s "Global B2C & B2B Experiential Marketing Forecast 2026-2030 study" and reported by PRWeb, "B2C experiential marketing was the larger of the two industry sectors, increasing 7.7% to $97.24 billion in 2025, and is on pace this year to post the fastest growth in a decade at 10.9%, fueled by the spending of official sponsors of the Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup teams and the contentious mid-term and other political campaign races in the majority of the top 20 global markets". Similarly, "B2B experiential marketing grew faster than its B2C counterpart in 2025, rising 9.7% to $41.74 billion, although it's pacing to grow at a slower rate than B2C experiential in 2026, posting an 8.9% gain."

Another report on "Why brands in India are turning to experiential marketing" by EY Parthenon suggests that, "Experiential marketing in India is evolving from episodic activations into a strategic brand capability."

Based on the above numbers and the changing trends, experiential marketing is no longer the future and is already becoming a reality, as several brands are using it for their product launches, brand activations, and other events to keep the audience immersed. Thus, interactive tech-led campaigns are a necessity if businesses want their potential customers to actively engage with their presentations instead of passively consuming information.

How Interactive Tech-led Campaigns Helped Our Clients

Maruti Suzuki - Brezza 2026 IoT-enabled Interactive Experience Zone (Automotive)

IoT-enabled automotive experience showcasing the Brezza Turbo Boosterjet engine

Maruti Suzuki, for the launch of its Brezza 2026, broke their tradition of Delhi-only launches and instead held the launch event in Mumbai. For the newest edition of their car, they had two major upgrades: the first being their all-new 1.0L Turbo Boosterjet engine and the other being a new music surround sound system. The goal wasn't to just showcase these features but also to deliver an experience that is engaging and immersive for their audience. To answer this, we came up with two interactive experience zones.

The first zone featured the Turbo Boosterjet Engine; here, the audience could find an accelerator pedal next to the car. This pedal was IoT-enabled; thus, it sensed the pressure that was used to push the pedal and accordingly controlled the fan's speed, which would blow on the user's face, and the speedometer and other effects that the user could see on the LED floor and screens around the car. Basically, it showed that the harder the user pushed the pedal, the faster the car would go.

The next zone was to showcase the power of the new surround system. Here, the audience could choose from 9 selected songs and play them from the Maruti Suzuki Brezza's music system. An iPad-controlled application was used to pick from the 4 visualizers. Thus, the frequencies of the beats in the song would control the visualizers, and it also synced with the floor lights.

The project was a hit and resulted in:

  • 100% zero downtime throughout the 4-hour media window.
  • 1-week turnaround time.
  • Both zone experiences were enjoyed by more than 200 people in 4 hours.
  • 250 media partners and influencers invited by Maruti Suzuki covered the event

Amazon - Interactive 3-Layer Game (Events and Exhibitions)

Amazon interactive gamified delivery experience using a large digital display

Amazon Smbhav is an annual event held by Amazon, and for Smbhav 2025, they wanted an interactive experience that could easily showcase how their freight, cargo, and delivery services worked. The goal was to come up with a 3-layer gamified experience, so that the customers not only learned about their processes but also had fun on the journey.

The solution we came up with was a game where the 3 layers would work similarly to 3 stages, here:

  • Layer 1 - Flight (Air): The player controls a plane that is carrying the parcel. Here, power-ups give you points, while clouds and other hazards deduct points.
  • Layer 2 - Truck (Transit): In this level, the player drives a truck to collect parcels falling from the sky, and every collected parcel gives them 1 point.
  • Layer 3 - Maze (Final delivery): Finally, the player controls a delivery partner that has to deliver the parcel to the recipient's house.

The project delivered on both keeping things fun and ensuring that the customers understood the delivery process; it resulted in:

  • Over 250 unique play sessions.
  • The game had a high completion rate.
  • Each session lasted 2-3 minutes, allowing for high rotation and repeated play sessions.

HDFC - AI-Powered Interactive MetaHuman Avatar (BFSI)

AI-powered MetaHuman avatar engaging visitors in an interactive HDFC scam awareness experience

With technology becoming more accessible, banking and financial scams have sadly become a lot more common, as nefarious individuals could easily exploit the vulnerable. Thus, to create awareness about it and to prevent them from happening, HDFC Securities launched the Scam 2025 program. The goal was to put an emphasis on how creative modern scams have become. So, they partnered with us to come up with an interactive solution where the customers would have to avoid getting scammed. To address this, we made a hyper-realistic MetaHuman avatar of actor Manoj Pahwa.

The avatar would interact with the customers in real-time and try to scam them live. Their goal was to avoid giving away any of their personal information. This was achieved using a push-to-talk microphone, where the MetaHuman would capture a user's speech, convert it to text, and the AI would then process it and generate a response with the intention to scam the user. What made this experience not just interactive but also immersive is that the AI would understand the context of the conversation and accordingly ask questions. Thus, it gave the impression of a real conversation rather than users being given selected few questions based on their responses. The reason it was able to convince the audience is that the responses were animated onto the MetaHuman within sub-500ms latency using an RTX 5090 pipeline.

The project garnered a lot of attention and resulted in:

  • 2,000+ total interactions across 3 days
  • 100% of the sessions ended with a digital CTA

Deloitte - Interactive Object Recognition Table (Retail)

Deloitte interactive object recognition table for exploring products and digital content

Deloitte has been one of the frontrunners in our country when it comes to innovation and technology. But to really drive the point home, they partnered with us for their Dot Hub AI Experience Center in Bangalore. We came up with two interactive solutions to help showcase that they aren't shy of adopting new technologies. An Object Recognition Table (ORT) and a transparent OLED HoloBox that featured an AI sales virtual assistant, Nova.

The OLED HoloBox let customers interact with Nova, an AI-powered sales assistant. She would give clients personalized suggestions and have analytics-driven conversations. To give her the human element, we gave her realistic facial expressions; this made conversations fun and not monotonous for the customers.

Next, we have one of the big highlights of the AI Experience Center, the Object Recognition Table (ORT). As the name suggests, this is a table that is capable of recognizing select objects placed on it. Thus, customers could pick something up, like earrings, and place it on the table. They would then get information about it, including details about the earrings' origin, metal and gemstone details, price breakdown, and more. Additionally, they could also customize the products from this ORT itself. Continuing with the earrings example, they could change the type of metal or gemstones used. After all the changes are done, they could then place an order for the product from the table itself.

The project was a success and had:

  • 17,00,000+ global visitors
  • 50,000+ AI interactions

What Industries can Benefit from Interactive Tech-led Campaigns?

Interactive real estate experience centre with digital twin display and illuminated scale model
01

Real Estate

Real estate can benefit from interactive tech-led campaigns by making experiences that are more tangible for the buyers. Thus, not only do they have better visualization options but also have more ways to actually explore the property that they are about to invest in.

A good example of one such instance would be an IoT-enabled scale model paired with a digital twin. Since a digital twin is a digital recreation of the property, buyers get to use the ArchViz software to fully explore the property, such as how the building's architecture looks from the outside, interiors, amenities, and more. As for the IoT-scale model, since it is connected with the digital twin, the sales team could use it to highlight different areas in the scale model. This gives buyers an even clearer idea of what they can expect from the property.

Education

It might seem unlikely, but educational institutes have a lot to gain from interactive tech-led campaigns. Schools or colleges could install smart displays by replacing traditional projectors. This would allow them to teach concepts and conduct exercises that allow multiple students to participate at the same time. Thus, promoting actual learning of the concepts and not cramming them just to prepare for exams. Similar tech could be used by universities to hold campaigns and show why they are better than the competition by showcasing the technology they use to teach their students.

VR-based medical training experience with interactive human anatomy visualization

Healthcare

The healthcare industry can make use of interactive technology to help junior doctors in training. One of the best examples of an interactive technology here is Virtual Reality. VR can be used to simulate different medical situations. This allows students to safely practice in controlled environments, where they can learn the medical procedure without being under the pressure of messing someone's life up if something goes wrong. Professionals can use VR to better visualise human anatomy, which could then be used to explain certain surgeries or processes to patients or students to help them understand it better. VR can also be used for physical or exposure therapy of patients in a safe environment. As such, VR could be used to promote how safe a new tool like a prosthetic or a procedure can be.

AR smart mirror allowing customers to virtually try different makeup shades

Fashion

The fashion industry benefits from interactive technology in unique ways, with its most common applications seen with AR. A great example of AR in fashion can be seen with Sephora's smart mirrors. They were installed in select stores, and all the customer had to do was stand in front of one, then select the cosmetics that they wished to try out. These gave options of different shades of eyeliner, lipstick, contour, blush, and more that the user could virtually apply. Thus, their reflection in the mirror would have the makeup applied, allowing users to safely try out the products without actually using them.

A similar application of this could be seen with Lenskart's Virtual Try-ons. It allowed users to virtually try glasses by simply aligning their face on the marked area of the site or app. Thus, they could see themselves wearing the glasses and could even move around their face to see how it would look from different angles.

Since interactive tech-led campaigns are custom made then can easily be deployed to locations where the brand's target audience can easily access them. Some examples of such places include retail stores, shopping malls, live events, trade shows, corporate spaces, exhibitions, experiential centers, and public spaces.

Yes. Interactive tech-led campaigns work best when they are custom-made. Before we start working on designing the campaign, our approach typically involves understanding your goals, target audience, and scope of the project. Next, we pitch you the initial concept of the campaign, the technologies that will be used, and more. If no changes are required, we start working on the development of the campaign; otherwise, we come up with alternate solution options. This ensures that the final campaign matches your vision and resonates with your target audience.

There are several metrics one can use to quantify the success of an interactive tech-led campaign. Most commonly, we use audience participation, interactions, dwell time, content engagement, leads generated, product interactions, and organic social sharing. We also offer options that help track specific metrics that might be unique to your product or service.

The cost of how much an interactive tech-led campaign mainly depends on several factors, such as the technology used, level of customisation, content requirements, hardware, installation environment, campaign duration, and number of deployment locations.
