During the time of the Pandemic, it was not feasible for customers to travel to the Car Showrooms, resulting in showroom experiences becoming obsolete. Hence, India’s IT brain, Capgemini partnered with Ink In Caps to redefine their onboarding experience into a virtual format and revamp their business model. Hence, a high-tech Virtual Car Showroom replicating the A-Z touchpoints of a physical showroom experience was developed, empowering the customers to get the inch-perfect offline experience while sitting in the comfort of their homes.

Reimagine A Car Showroom Experience

We aspired to go beyond the traditional websites that are information-centric, by building a platform that is immersive and makes people intuitive. We developed a virtual showroom with 360-degree navigation and captivating graphics that blew the user’s mind. A center was created from where objects representing the categories and subcategories of the website used to emerge.

A seamless journey from Web to Mobile to AR, circling back to the Web was ingrained. The user journey was conscientiously split into 4 parts- Reception, Lounge, 3D Car Configurator, and the Sales Zone. We opted for a mobile-friendly approach with the ability to display and function at all touchpoints with ease.

High-end Car Configurators

To incite a seamless aspect, the 3D car configurator was enabled with an AR experience with which the user could configure the car by just scanning a QR code. Users could also get a better understanding of how the car would look in their garage. The configurator was developed to work seamlessly on any device and offer a realistic car experience.
