World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025, which was held in Mumbai from 1st to 4th May 2025, at the Jio World Convention Centre, launched by PM Modi, was a world platform for the Indian Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry.
The summit was a symbolic wave of culture, creativity, and global connectivity, aimed at connecting the Indian M&E industry with the rest of the world, promoting development and innovation.

Infinite Curved LED Anamorphic Wall: A stunning visual installation that told the story of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL)'s 10-year journey using a motion anamorphic illusion and 3D living experiences.
Hologram Installation: A customized hologram featuring Amitabh Bachchan narrating stories from the Ram Katha, Ram Chants, and Shlokas directly taken from Jio Hotstar's live broadcast on Ram Navami.
This was the main innovative and immersive highlight, which got significant attention from PM Modi and some other significant dignitaries.
Gesture-Based Interactive Table: An interactive touchless screen powered by Leap Motion technology, where visitors could explore the history and success of Star Sports through natural gestures.
Kinetic LED Wall: The dynamic screen that displays Jio Hotstar's and its subsidiary channels' corporate audio-visual and brand narratives in independently moving LED tiles. At the forefront of the first-time application of this new technology, the team aimed at creating the biggest possible visual impact through a kinetic LED screen.
The configuration included tiles wherein the power of each tile would shift on its own, affecting its content and its aura and depicting the size of Jio Star and all the constellations of all the companies.
C-Shaped LED Wall: An immersive LED wall that fascinated spectators with a visual representation of the Mahashivratri festival through the innovative and custom-fabricated C-shaped screen for maximum impact.
The installations effectively employed a range of state-of-the-art technologies to create an experiential and immersive experience.
The Anamorphic Wall employed precise mathematical calculations to create a 3D illusion.
The Holobox employed a custom rig with well-calibrated lighting (about 1.5 lakh units of lights) to display a realistic hologram.
The gesture-based table leveraged Leap Motion technology for touchless interaction.
The Kinetic LED Wall used the power of independently animated tiles for dynamic graphics.
The C-shaped LED wall made use of a bespoke massive metal framework and high-resolution LED tiles to create an immersive environment.
