Project Green Light, a Google Research initiative, harmonizes Google Maps and AI to identify the most eco-friendly routes. This visionary solution analyzes traffic patterns, offering recommendations to optimize existing traffic light plans. The ultimate goal is to foster sustainability, reduce fuel consumption, and identify the most efficient routes.
To elucidate the intricacies of Project Green Light, an interactive zebra crossing experience was designed. Users engaged in a three-step journey across the zebra crossing, symbolizing the problem statement, solution, and outcome. Problem Statement: Users stepped on specific lines to unfold different facets of the problem, divided into distinct parts. Solution Stage: The subsequent steps highlighted the proposed solutions, providing a comprehensive understanding of Project Green Light's functionality. Outcome Section: The final leg showcased the positive outcomes, emphasizing sustainability, reduced fuel consumption, and optimized traffic flow.
The experiential technology garnered acclaim from industry stalwarts and influencers, including the renowned Technical Guruji. Understanding Google's branding guidelines, Ink In Caps successfully connected the narrative, earning appreciation for the setup's creativity and seamless storytelling.
An aesthetically pleasing setup was meticulously crafted, employing Ink In Caps' internal team of IoT engineers. The hardware, content, and overall experience were seamlessly integrated. Plywood buttons embedded in the zebra crossing were equipped with sensors. When pressure was applied, content reflecting the problem, opportunity, and impact was triggered, creating an immersive narrative.
