Government Of India

To Celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, commemorating 75 years of India’s Independence, we collaborated with the Government Of India, the Ministry Of Defence, and the Department of Defence Production to create a Virtual Museum as well as a Virtual Platform called the Path to Pride, during the Defence Expo 2021.

Demonstrating India’s Defence Capabilities
Through this initiative, the Government wanted to exhibit India’s Defence capabilities- Naval, Land, Electronics, Missile, Aero & UAV, on a global stage so we built a high-end platform that was cohesive with this vision. We maneuvered rich multimedia format to showcase Tejas LCA, Arjun MK1, Akash Missile, and Scorpene in a 360-degree demonstration.

Celebrating the Momentous Milestones
A comprehensive strategy was formulated to celebrate and showcase all the milestones achieved in the Defence Sector through highly interactive content including a concoction of text, visuals, and audio. The platform was divided into multiple sections- Auditorium, Exhibition, and Networking & Feedback Zone. The Auditorium facilitated dignified officials to take Live Interactive Sessions which could be converted into watch-on-demand while the Exhibition area engulfed the display of Defence capabilities. Users could share their comments in the Feedback Zone, wherein all the comments were scrutinized through a high-moderator approval system.Furthermore, all the products were showcased with 360-degree interaction along with the setup of an AR Photo Booth with the Path to Pride Theme with the incorporation of the Client-side frame segmentation algorithm.

Live Interactive Sessions
A total of 10 sessions spanning 1.5 hours each was conducted every day on the platform for 3 months ceaselessly which included Ministers as well as the Heads of Departments.A slot mechanism was made in the backend to facilitate the smooth execution of these sessions maintaining a limit of 1500 seats per day.For attending these sessions, a user had to get registered through his email id. A secured login authentication procedure was put into effect after which the user could attend the session in the pre-defined slot. The users could explore the platform in addition to checking the live events. A message popped up in the last 30 minutes as a reminder of the time running out.  As soon as the session was completed, a Thank you message appeared on the user’s screen and he was auto-checked out to allow the next set of users to come in.There was a 10-minute cooldown time between the sessions which was used to actively monitor the servers.  All of this was supposed to be done within the slot system and so an immensely complicated system was made. We also had to ensure that finite seats were given in each session to hold concurrency on the platform.
