Business Development Manager * 2-3 Years

About the job

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, developing strategic client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. You will own the complete sales lifecycle—from identifying prospects and pitching innovative solutions to negotiating commercials and closing high-value deals.

Beyond sales, you will work closely with internal creative, strategy, production, and technology teams to ensure successful project execution while identifying opportunities for account growth and repeat business.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and acquire new clients through outbound sales, networking, referrals, and industry events.

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Generate qualified leads and manage the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting to deal closure.

Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution-based sales pitches to key decision-makers.

Understand client objectives and propose customized experiential marketing and technology-driven solutions.

Prepare proposals, commercials, and presentations in collaboration with internal strategy, creative, and production teams.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms while ensuring profitable business outcomes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and successful execution.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across existing accounts.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, pipeline reports, and business development activities.

job requirements

3–4 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Client Acquisition, or Key Account Management.

Proven experience in generating new business through outbound prospecting and consultative selling.

Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, lead generation, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.

Experience in experiential marketing, advertising, media, digital marketing, events, technology, or creative agencies will be preferred.

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

Strong commercial acumen with experience handling pricing discussions and contract negotiations.

Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into effective business solutions.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, technology, and production.

Proficiency in CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or equivalent sales management tools.

Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and business development activities as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.

MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management will be an added advantage.

Prior experience in handling enterprise clients and high-value projects is preferred.

Existing network within Automotive, BFSI, FMCG, Retail, Real Estate, Consumer Goods, or Lifestyle sectors will be an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and presentation tools.
