PM Narendra Modi spent significant time observing our Ram Navami hologram
Attended by over 90 nations,1,00,000+ visitors, 10,000 delegates, 1,000 creators, 300+ companies, and 350+ startups
We had an incredible partnership with Jio Star in conceptualizing innovative and immersive experiences for WAVES 2025. This entailed designing installations for the Bharat Pavilion under the Ministry of Broadcasting, underscoring the cultural heritage of India, the theme, ”Kala to Code", and the Jio Pavilion, shaping the brand and corporate narratives of Jio Star and its subsidiary channels.
The brief was to highlight how Indian media shapes Indian culture, Jio's broadcasting strength, Star Sports' regional reach, and some impactful stories like the journey of the Pro Kabaddi League and the celebration of Ram Navami.
Infinite Curved LED Anamorphic Wall: A stunning visual installation that told the story of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 's 10-year journey using a motion anamorphic illusion and 3d Living experiences.
Hologram Installation: A customized hologram featuring Amitabh Bachchan narrating stories from the Ram Katha, Ram Chants, and Shlokas directly taken from Jio Hotstar's live broadcast on Ram Navami.
Gesture-Based Interactive Table: An interactive touchless screen powered by Leap Motion technology, where visitors could explore the history and success of Star Sports through natural gestures.
Kinetic LED Wall: The dynamic screen that displays Jio Hotstar's and its subsidiary channels' corporate audio-visual and brand narratives in independently moving LED tiles. At the forefront of 1st time application of this new technology, the team aimed at creating the biggest possible visual impact through a kinetic LED screen. The configuration included tiles wherein the power of each tile would shift on its own, affecting its content, its aura, and depicting the size of Jio Star and all the constellations of all the companies.
C-Shaped LED Wall: An immersive LED Wall that fascinated spectators with a visual representation of the Mahashivratri festival through the innovative and custom-fabricated C-shaped screen for maximum impact.
The immersive experiences created by our team got high visibility at WAVES 2025. Most notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent significant time observing the installation at the Bharat Pavilion's Hologram. Overall, the Bharat Pavilion had over 1 lakh visitors, including several high-profile dignitaries like the CM of Maharashtra, the External Affairs Minister, and the Ambani family.
The hologram installation was the showstopper, and it felt so realistic that a lot of visitors joined their hands in front of it in reverence. Both Jio Star and visitors gave positive feedback on the installations' creativity and impact, which reinforced the success of our approach.
Instead of merely creating installations, we created five unique experience zones that each combined state-of-the-art technology with gripping stories. Our objective was to engage guests in narratives while utilizing creative design to produce remarkable experiences. Every zone was carefully designed to captivate and engage, from a kinetic LED wall that brought a corporate constellation to life to an immersive hologram representing Indian culture.
The installations effectively employed a range of state-of-the-art technologies to create an experiential and immersive experience. The Anamorphic Wall employed precise mathematical calculations to create a 3D illusion. The Holobox employed a custom rig with well-calibrated lighting (about 1.5 lakhs units of lights) to display a realistic hologram. The gesture-based table leveraged Leap Motion technology for touchless interaction. The Kinetic LED Wall used the power of independently animated tiles for dynamic graphics, while the C-shaped LED Wall made use of a bespoke massive metal framework and high-resolution LED tiles to create an immersive environment.
Iic's work at waves 2025 was a huge success, highlighting the power of immersive technology to enhance storytelling and interact with audiences. The installations impressed visitors not just by their enormity but also by re-emphasizing jio star's brand presence and iic's prowess in creating innovative and impactful experiences. The summit provided a suitable platform for iic to showcase its capabilities and explore possible collaborations in the media and entertainment industry in the future.
